Take a look at last week’s market recap from Joe Gallemore, CIMA® Partner & Director of Investment Management for Argent Bridge Advisors. Watch the video now!
Joe’s Notes:
- The global markets have taken a very risk-on attitude the past two weeks as different areas of the market each found separate footing. And most indexes now stand with double-digit returns year to date.
- US stocks have risen among a good start to Q3 earnings reports, led by bank stocks.
- International and Emerging Markets stock indexes had a very good two weeks as the Covid cases globally begin to budge a little bit, international supply chain log-jams work themselves out, and the runway for economic recovery remains larger abroad than in the US. We still feel these are still areas of great opportunity.
- Energy has by far been the strongest performing sector this year. I’m sure many of you have noticed that at the gas station, the average price of a gallon of gas nationwide has risen $0.13 in the last two weeks to $3.32.
